Can Snow Patrol be any more amazing? Yes!!!! I’ve been a big fan of theirs for a long time. I failed to find people to go to their concerts with in the past, so I was ecstatic when my friend decided to go with me last Friday.

They were absolutely great live as evident by the video above. Listening to their music afterwards isn’t the same. They were great performers and had a ton of energy. I was totally jamming out the whole night.

Plus, Gary was pretty funny. He accidentally dedicated a morbid song to a couple and their mom. Then, he dedicated a much sweeter song to them and it turned out that song was on their wedding playlist - how cute! Another memorable moment of Gary, he kept on incorrectly over-guessing this guy’s age in the audience. He was only 23, but Gary thought he was 33+.

The opening act was Ed Sheeran, who I never heard of. In fact, I didn’t even know who was opening for them. Apparently, he’s big in the UK and I could see why. He was really good, too. Check out his music video, Lego House with Ron Weasley - http://youtu.be/c4BLVznuWnU

The concert was worth the hassle of driving back and forth between DC and C’Ville within 12 hours. Although, going to work the following afternoon and running on five hours of sleep and Dunkin’ Donuts was a bit rough.
